Information for the season 2022

Dear golfers and visitors of the Hrubá Borša Golf Club,

the golf season of 2021 is almost over. To whom we are most grateful are you, the members of our club, who have the greatest credit for the success of the season.

We have successfully completed a series of our well-established ECLECTIC tournaments, which are already an integral part of golf at our club. We have introduced a new Women's and Senior Tour, which was a success in the pilot year, so you can look forward to individual rounds of our well-established or commercial tours in 2022 as well.

From the position of the club president, I would like to introduce you to the news that you can look forward to in 2022.

Last season, our employees devoted themselves honestly to the functional modifications and repairs of the course. A new training area - warm-up putting - grew up on the first tee. In recent months, we have embarked on intensive repairs of bunkers and waste bunkers throughout the course. We fought with the cleaning of lakes or built new stone walls on hole No. 10 and hole No. 13. We therefore devoted an honest amount of time and work to the preparation of the course for the new season.

We maintain the concept of youth work in order to build a strong junior base at GKHB. At CTM, we bring together our best-performing junior players who are interested in playing golf not only recreationally, under the leadership of PGA professional Jakub Hrbáň. We support juniors, either financially or by creating the best possible conditions for development. We also did not forget to support the representation of men, women or seniors in championships, and it will be the same in 2022.

At the end of 2021, we managed to open the Caddy Room in the old reception area at the Driving Range. There are 26 spacious lockers available, which can also hold two bags. If you are interested in renting a locker, whether for the day, month or the whole season, you can ask for the locker at the reception of the Hrubá Borša Golf Club.

As you may have noticed, the apartments at the Club House are already in the final form. We believe that this season we will be able to start accommodation in the Green Resort.

After the winter break, we have reopened the gates of the resort, so I hope to meet you again soon in the club and on the greens.
