Golf club Borsa was founded on 27. 12. 2007, and in 2009 was accepted as an associated member of the Slovak golf association (SKGA). In January 2010 he was accepted as a full member SKGA. The first significant event in the affairs of the Golf club Borsa were the dates 18. and 19. June 2010, when took place the inauguration of the golf course GREEN RESORT. Among the invited were people from the golf environment, but also the residents of the village of Hrubá Borša and the general public. Another significant event was the opening of the 9 hole Championship course /PAR 36/ Saturday 29. June 2013, when the Opening of the VIP Green Resort tournament took place, which were officially opened a new 3 hole to already existing six holes from the 18-hole championship course. The entire area was on this occasion closed to the public. For the game system was selected Texas Scramble pairs and played one round with a gradual start from 10:00.  The ceremony shot was executed by Milan Lasica, who came with his wife Magda Vašáryová. In the tournament, this married couple also created a pair of players. In a common flight, they continued on the course with club president Jozef Munka and Miroslav Marinčak. Also invited to the tournament were other distinguished guests who enjoyed the golf game, such as Taiwan's Ambassador David Nan-Yang Lee and his wife, deputyJuraj Droba, television presenter Dagmar Dianová, tennis player Karol Kučera, actors Peter Sklár and Peter Batthyány, entrepreneur Fedor Flašík and professional golf represented by Zuzana Kamasová. The third most important event was the official opening of the 18 hole Championship course. The Opening VIP Green Resort tournament was held on Saturday, August 9, 2014. The entire site was closed to the public on this occasion.For the game system was selected Texas Scramble pairs and played one round with a gradual start from holes 1 and 10 on 10:00.  The ceremony shot was executed by Milan Lasica, the same as it has been at the opening of 9 hole course a year ago, the second ceremony shot has been executed by Stanislav Pros, owner of Golf Resort Čeladná, who came to this event with hise wife Oľga. Other important figures from the artistic and business sphere were invited as actor and politician Milan Kňažko, deputy Juraj Droba, television presenter Dagmar Dianová, actors Peter Sklár, Peter Batthyány and Martin Mňahončák, professional golf represented by Zuzana Kamasová and many others.
